Next Camp - Spring 2008
Why Boot Camp?
Put simply, it's the best way to get in shape in the shortest amount of
time. As a personal trainer for the past 17 years, I've looked for
every possible method to get my clients in shape and this program works
better than anything else. Gyms are full of complicated equipment and
poorly trained staff. Most people who join a gym become confused and
frustrated within the first few weeks and quickly drop out of sight,
never to return again. The honest truth is that if you want to make a
smaller, tighter version of your existing self, you will have to work
at it consistently until you reach your goal. You also need to have
someone teach you what to do and how to eat in order to achieve that
goal. Spending an hour or two per week at the gym and following the
lastest diet fad simply won't cut it. Unless you're a competitive
athlete or a fitness expert, you are going to need a better plan. This
is it. There are no machines or equipment involved, no smoothie bars,
no contracts, no mirrors, no music, no women in thongs and no
choreographed dance steps. Although this is a "military style"
program, you won't be singled out and you won't be yelled at. In
short, this is a great program for the average person trying to lose
weight and get back in shape.

The Program
The "Boot Camp" program from In Shape Personal Fitness & Nutrition is
challenging, fun and rewarding. Anyone over the age of 18 that can
pass a simple health evaluation can join. Whether your goal is to run
a marathon or just drop a few pounds and add a little muscle, anyone
can benefit from Boot Camp. The average enlistee is a male or female
between the age of 25 – 55 and typically 20 lbs. or more overweight.
At the end of your 6-week enlistment, you will have learned proper
nutrition and training techniques that will benefit you for the rest
of your life.
Boot Camp At A Glance
The Boot Camp program is a comprehensive 6-week outdoor fitness program
for adults. It meets 5 days per week at 5:30 a.m. at the studio in Rock Hill. This program combines strength
training, cardiovascular conditioning and advanced nutrition under the instruction of a certified personal
trainer. Enlistees train in a safe, non-intimidating, military-style environment and are pushed to their
fullest potential. In short, Boot Camp will force you to meet your training goals!
Taking the Guess Work Out of Training
As a direct result of the fitness explosion of the 1980’s, more information about exercise and weight loss is
available now than ever before. It is very confusing and most often contradictory. At Boot Camp,
you will learn fact from fiction. You will also benefit from working with a certified personal trainer in a positive,
motivating environment.
The Diet
At Boot Camp, you will learn proper nutrition. Dietary mistakes are the reason most
other programs don't work. Proper nutrition accounts for the biggest percentage of your success or failure. We
expect results, therefore we take nutrition seriously. You will be provided nutritional education and taught the
proper way to eat in order to permanently lose body fat.
Boot Camp Is the Best Training Program Available…Period
Boot Camp is the only training program you’ll ever need. For approximately one hour a day
you will do push-ups, squats, lunges, crunches and a host of other exercises in a group workout format designed to maximize
your potential in order to decrease body fat and lose weight.
